Wedding schedule

PrintE-mail

Schedules will of course vary depending on a number of different factors; however the following details should assist you in planning your wedding day. The schedules are based on a 1.00pm wedding ceremony in a church and a venue with a civil ceremony licence, but can be adapted to suit your day. We are happy to discuss your schedule with you in more detail.

Example schedule with a church ceremony

1.00pm – Church Ceremony
  • Allow one hour for the ceremony and readings
  • Allow time for photos and transit to your venue

2.30pm – Drinks, Canapés and Photos
  • Discuss with your photographer how long they require.
  • If you would like your schedule changed on the day you are welcome to discuss options with your manager. The weather is often a factor at this time.

4.00pm – Invite your guests to be seated or set up a receiving line
  • The time it takes for all your guests to be seated can vary depending on factors such as how many of the bridal party are in the receiving line and how long it takes you to greet your guests. If there are fewer of the bridal party in the recieving line receiving will be faster.

4.30pm – Wedding Breakfast
  • Two hours based on a three course meal without any breaks for speeches.

6.30pm – Speeches
  • These can be before the meal or between courses if preferred

7.30pm – Evening guests to arrive
  • We will happily greet your guests with a drink as they arrive.

8.00pm – Evening entertainment and first dance

9.00pm – Evening food served
